3D Paper Flowers for Crafts ~ Coming soon to my Etsy shop!

Hi everyone!

I have been busy creating 3D paper flowers for the use of scrap booking, card making and general crafts! I thought it would be a good idea to sell my paper flowers for others to use rather than always creating pieces with them on myself.
These 3D paper flowers have been made with paper and card of all colours and patterns, and have been handpainted by me. All flowers have been coated in a thick glittery paint which makes them glimmer and harden to make them more secure.

I use my 3D paper flowers for various crafts. Card making, creating artwork on canvases, making magnets and present labels, but I am sure there’s hundreds of ways you can use them to brighten up anything! All you need to do is secure them down with a strong glue, or a 3D foam pad. Alternatively you can open up the flower and use the split pin! Simple 🙂

Here’s some pictures of Paper flowers which will be available in my Etsy shop soon:

Preview of my *New* products!

Yesterday I was working on some new products to put on Etsy, as well as for my craft fair next Saturday, at the Light House in Wolverhampton. Firstly I have made some of my 3D paper flowers into magnets by painting them up in pretty colours and sticking some adhesive magnet to the back. I have signed all of them for an affordable unique piece of artwork for your fridge!

I have also textured some 10cm by 10cm canvases for Mother’s day and for Cat lovers! I have added my 3D paper flowers to the Mothers day canvases I have made, with the words ‘mom, I love you’ on them.

I hope you like my new designs! They will be in my Etsy shop very, very soon! If you want to purchase before hand, just get in contact with me through Facebook 🙂

A bit more about the painting:

‘I love Balloons’ is an original canvas painting of 8x8x1.50 inches (painted on deep edge canvas, edges painted black.) I have textured the painting with ripped up card and paper, and painted it in acrylic and emulsion paints. The painting is of one of my happy patchwork girls in a garden on a sunny  day, with her balloons.

Good luck!

Making 3D Paper Flowers

Last night I made all of these Paper Flowers… I must admit they are addictive to make and I will be using this technique on many creations in the future!

To make these 3D paper flowers I cut various sized circles out of different cards and papers and scrunch them up so they look ruffled. The paper I have used musical note paper, textured paper, colourful card and pages from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, but you could use any paper/card you wish!

After scrunching them up, I place all the ruffled circles together, and make a hole in the middle either with a crafting knife or a pair of scissors. I then use split pins (which you can buy at any stationary shop) to push through the middle and hold them together!

Simple but effective way of making beautiful flowers for your creations. I will be using these on many things such as canvas paintings, cards and making them into magnets!
