A bit more about the painting:

‘I love Balloons’ is an original canvas painting of 8x8x1.50 inches (painted on deep edge canvas, edges painted black.) I have textured the painting with ripped up card and paper, and painted it in acrylic and emulsion paints. The painting is of one of my happy patchwork girls in a garden on a sunny ¬†day, with her balloons.

Everyone is welcome to enter this competition.

Good luck!

Finished ‘In Bloom’ Canvas Painting….

This is the finished piece of ‘In Bloom’ my newest mixed media canvas painting. I have varnished it with a glossy, protective finish and painted the canvas edges black to compliment the outlines of the butterfly and the flowers. This piece is inspired by Spring, and is certainly cheering me up in this awful cold weather! I just cannot wait for Spring to come!

I have also listed this piece of original artwork on my Etsy, which you can view here.
